This website is operated by Empowering Everyday Women Ministries, Inc. (“EEW,” “we,” or “us”), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Buffalo, New York. By using our website or sharing your information with us, you agree to this policy and our Terms of Use.

2. Information You Give Us

We collect personal information only with your consent. This happens when you fill out a form on our site, such as a contact, prayer request, volunteer, or booking form, when you sign up for our emails, when you give, and when you make a purchase.

We ask only for what is reasonable for the purpose. This may include your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and anything you write in a message or prayer request.

3. Information Collected Automatically

Our website is hosted by Squarespace. Each time you visit, the site records basic information such as your internet (IP) address, which shows your general location, along with your browser, device, and the pages you view. This information does not identify you by name.

We use it to count visitors, improve the website, and understand how people find us.

4. Cookies

Cookies are small pieces of text stored on your device when you visit a website. Our site uses cookies to keep track of information you have provided and to keep the site secure. We also use Google Analytics, which uses cookies to show us how visitors use the site so we can improve it.

Some pages include YouTube videos, which may set their own cookies when you play them.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features of our site may not work if you do, and blocking cookies may not stop all tracking. Browser “do not track” settings are not handled the same way by every website.

5. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the purpose you shared it for. That includes responding to your messages, praying for your requests, processing and acknowledging your gifts and purchases, sending the emails you signed up for, and following up on volunteer and booking requests.

We may also use information as the law allows, to respond to an emergency, or during an investigation into illegal activity.

6. Prayer Requests

We treat prayer requests with care. They are read by our ministry team so we can pray for you. We do not publish your prayer request or your name without your permission.

7. Giving and Purchases

Online gifts and purchases are processed by PayPal, Givelify, Givebutter, and Stripe under their own privacy policies. Your full card or bank details go to those services. We receive information such as your name, email address, amount, and date, which we use for receipts and our records.

8. Email Updates

We want to email you only if you want to hear from us. We send our emails through Constant Contact, and every email includes a link at the bottom to unsubscribe or update your preferences.

If you unsubscribe from ministry updates, we may still email you about a gift, a purchase, or a question you sent us.

9. How We Share Information

We will never rent, sell, or lease your personal information.

We share it only with trusted service providers that help us run our ministry, such as Squarespace, Constant Contact, PayPal, Givelify, Givebutter, and Stripe. They receive only what they need to do their work and are required to keep it confidential. Some of these providers may store information outside your country, where it may be subject to that country’s laws.

We may also share information in response to a subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or to establish or protect our legal rights.

10. Keeping Your Information Safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information, including organizational, technical, and physical safeguards. No website can promise complete security.

If your personal information is ever compromised in a security breach, we will promptly notify you as required by law.

11. Links to Other Websites

Our website links to sites run by others, including PayPal, Givelify, Givebutter, and social media platforms. This policy does not cover those sites. Information you share on another site or platform is subject to that site’s privacy policy.

12. Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Anyone under 16 must have a parent’s or guardian’s permission to use this website, contact us, give, or make a purchase here.

13. Your Choices
